Ohio Rod Products was founded in 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1966, we moved our entire operation to an 18 acre site in Versailles, Indiana, a hard working community we’re proud to continue to call home. Today, as a member of the Elgin Fastener Group, we’re recognized as the industry leader in the design and manufacture of long length, small diameter fasteners.

Our success can be traced directly to our focus on engineering excellence, quality at all levels and unparalleled service. To meet these goals, we’ve built a loyal and proud workforce of highly skilled craftsmen with strong work ethics.

We maintain a continuous program of machine acquisition and technology improvements to ensure on-going productivity and product feature improvements. It’s helped us earn and maintain our ISO 9001:2008 registration.We also strive to provide a consistent level of quality throughout our entire organization.
